There are many Threatened Ecological Communities (TECs) occurring in northern NSW. They can be difficult to identify for many land managers, but they require particular management if they are to be protected. We worked with Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA to develop 8-12 page fact sheets for 8 different TECs. The fact sheets covered:

• identification and distribution;
• flora and fauna;
• threats;
• management; and
• sources of information
