In partnership with Greening Australia NSW, we developed a seed supply strategy for the southern highlands of NSW for Wingecarribee Shire Council and Hawkesbury-Nepean CMA. The strategy looked at what would be required to supply sufficent quantity of high quality seed for connectivity projects planned under the Great Eastern Ranges program. We developed restoration plans for a number of priority ecological communities, recommended priority species for seed collection and made recommendations for capacity building for the seed sector. The project included the development of maps to guide seed collectors to appropriate collection sites and help them differentiate provenances based on environmental factors.
