After successfully tracking six koalas near Mt Duval we are about to embark on a new koala tracking project to the north east of Armidale. With lots of reports coming in of koalas being seen near the Pine Forest, at Tilbuster and between Puddledock and Donald Roads, we hope to catch 3 more koalas and fit them with state-of-the-art GPS collars. The collars will allow us to see where the koalas go and how they use bushland and urban areas.
